The weather has (mostly) been warming up a little, but then there are those times when you need a break from salad and something a bit more warming on those cooler evenings โ and this is it! A beautiful blend of herbs and spices here too!
This recipe also features the incredible Grange Garlic, giving it a powerful flavour boost!

1kg lamb mince (or you can use extra lean beef mince if you want to cut down on the fat)
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tsp Grange Garlic
2 tbsp finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves (omit if you must)
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika

2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 tsp Grange Garlic
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp paprika
2 x cans chopped tomatoes
2 tsp harissa
2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves (optional)
When making sauce you can add whatever veggies you like โ I added pumpkin, red capsicum and zucchini, and stirred through some spinach at the end)

- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Place baking paper on two trays. Place the lamb, onion, garlic, herbs and spices in a bowl and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Roll tablespoons of mixture into balls and bake on trays for 18-20 mins until browned.
- To make the sauce, heat oil in a large deep pan or pot, add the onion and cook over med heat for 5 minutes til soft. Add the garlic, cumin, cinnamon and paprika and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the tomato and harissa and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, then add the meatballs and simmer for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Stir in the coriander if using, season well and serve.
